TECNA WELDERS, TOOL BALANCERS AND ACCESSORIES
Involved in the resistance welding industry since the early 1970s, TECNA has developed a complete line of resistance spot welding machinery for the industrial and auto body repair markets. TECNA is ISO 9001 and 14001 certified. Our line of pedestal spot welders consists of single-phase AC (Alternating Current) and three-phase MFDC (Medium-Frequency Direct Current) press-type welders, rocker arm welders, and portable weld guns. We also manufactures servo-driven weld guns for robotic integration, as well as three-phase DC (Direct Current) press welders. TECNA offers bench-sized press welders as well, not to mention a modular system which includes small, slim press type and rocker arm type welders, and the TECNA Twin-Spot modular multi-weld head. All of these are available from Weld Systems Integrators, Inc.
TECNA, founded by Ezio Amadori, has also been a leader in spring-driven tool balancers. These TECNA Tool Balancers are available in capacities ranging from 0.44 lbs (0.2 kg) to 396 lbs (180kg). TECNA Tool balancers are also available with stainless steel wire, galvanized steel wire, polypropylene cable, or Dyneema™ cable. TECNA’s ATEX line of tool balancers is designed for use in potentially explosive environments. All of TECNA’s Tool Balancers are available from WSI.
WSI also carries TECNA’s complete line of Test and Measurement Devices. This includes analog tip force gauges, as well as the TE1600 and TE1700 electronic weld analyzers, which measure everything from weld current to electrode force. Both are capable of monitoring AC and DC machines, as well as MFDC and Capacitor-Discharge (CD) welders. The TE1700 includes features such as Wi-Fi and USB 2.0 connectivity.
